Evaluate the range of services offered by OACVB members (DMOs) to the traveling public. Benchmark minimum operating standards and to report these standards to the OACVB board. Provide a path whereby OACVB can assist its membership to comply with DMAI reporting standards. Future TRAC Study Objective: To ascertain how many OACVB members would presently be able to receive DMAI Accreditation (DMAP) and how OACVB can assist X% of membership to be eligible for Accreditation by a date in the future. Questions for Future OACVB Discussion • Can we better serve and reach the traveling public by reaching a higher level of compliance with DMAI Reporting Standards? • Can we better serve our industry by having our members establish a % of Oregon DMOs to be accredited by a certain date? • Would OACVB like a TRAC study to show present member ability to be accredited (by % not by member’s names). • Would we be better understood by the public and the tourism industry if we changed our post-script from CVB to DMO and if OACVB became ODMA?
