2013 Merit Exercise • The following criteria must be met for an employee to be eligible for Merit: • Benefits Eligible • Hired on or before 2/28/2013 • Actively employed as of 9/1/2013 • Current performance evaluation on file with HR • Faculty Merits can be established through the college and Provost Office • Students and Non-Benefits Eligible employees are not eligible for Merit • SUDs can be processed starting August 9 • SUDs must be received in Human Resources NLT August 14
Step 1 On the HRMS home page, click Toolsfrom the toolbar
Step 2 Click on the SUD link.
Step 3 Effective date will default to 9/1/2013 Verify Desk Enter/Validate Reports To Unit Select type of Position from Position Category drop-down box
Step 3, continued Click List Positions button
Step 4 ALL benefits eligible positions will appear. Departments will need to only select those employees that are eligible for merit. List can be sorted by attributes.
Step4, continued Click Select All to complete SUDs on every employee
Step4, continued Or check boxes to make selection
Step 5 After selections are made, click Create Salary Update Document
Step6 Adjust Base Pay tab Click Edit to enter Merit Marigold Berry Daisy Pepper Jicama Lopez Rosie Flowers
Step 7 Marigold Berry Under “Type” select Merit
Step 8 Marigold Berry Click the Edit Amount link to enter Merit amount.
Step8,continued Marigold Berry Enter Merit amount according to Merit templates
Step9 Marigold Berry Enter remarks Then click Save
Step 10 Then click on the Document Review tab when finished. Repeat steps for each individual Marigold Berry Daisy Pepper Jicama Lopez Rosie Flowers
Step 11 Document Review tab Enter Document Remarks
Step 11,continued Click Save
Step 12 Verify Document to ensure it is error-free, then Approve Document
