Install filter between the “To Process†and “From<br>Process†pipes for maximum differential pressure<br>utilization. This also ensures side stream filtration,<br>throttling the flow through the filter using the outlet<br>valve on the filter. Install 1†NPT or Socket weld<br>isolation valves on the pressure inlet and outlet.<br>Purge all air from the filter using the vent valve on<br>top. Note the inlet and outlet pressures to monitor<br>loading of the equipment.

Throttle valve must always be partially or fully open, never closed to ensure side stream filtration of the oil. Purge all air from the filter using the vent valve on top. Note the inlet and outlet pressures to monitor the loading of the element. Replace the element when the (∆P) (differential pressure) reaches 25 PSID.
