Meetings for WADO • T-con on Dec. 11 • Reviewed the draft standard ver. 1.5. • Emmanuel updated it to ver.1.6. • Face-to-face meeting was held on January 17th in San Antonio • We reviewed the draft standard ver. 1.6, line-by-line. After the meeting, Emmanuel updated it to ver.1.7. • We agreed that future issues of the draft standard should have two front pages – one for publication by DICOM and the other for publication by ISO. • We discussed the work plan and agreed that the document would be presented to WG6 at June meeting.
Meetings for WADOto be continued • T-con was held on February 18th. • Dave Harvey reported on his implementation base on the draft standard ver.1.7. He suggested the desirability of including the presentation state series UID as a necessary parameter. This would be listed as an open issue. • The issue on controlling MIME type was raised by Emmanuel. Koos Rommelse and Larry Tarbox offered to assign someone of their companies who would consider the issue. • Cor Loef, Don Singley, and Larry Tarbox offered voluntary work of test implementation and evaluation of the draft standard by their companies. • After the T-con, Emmanuel updated the draft standard to ver. 1.8.
Additional news • Secretariat of TC215 is taken over by HIMSS after ASTM resigned.Ms. Joyce Sensmeier is a contact person there. She will attend the Oslo meeting. • US Tag decided Dr. Yun-Sik Kwak of Korea as a candidate of the next chairperson of the TC215.
