  3. Group Activity • Choose a partner. • Select a Supreme Court case. • Create a PPoint presentation, Word outline, or handwritten outline of case. • Present to class.

PowerPoint Slides • TITLE OF THE CASE • SUMMARY • Summarize the facts of the case • CONSTITUTIONAL LAW • Identify issue(s) and relate to constitutional law(s) • Write each issue in the form a question(s) and include the constitutional law(s) • ARGUMENTS • Summarize the arguments of the Appellant and Appellee • DECISION • Decided by which court? Who was the Chief Justice at the time? • Summarize the opinion of the Court • Provide the results from the vote of the Justices • CONCLUSION • Do you agree or disagree with the decision of the court? Why? • REFERENCES • MLA or APA format

  5. Individual Activity • List the names of the (9) current Supreme Court Justices. • Next to each Justice, write the President who appointed him or her. • Choose one Justice, past or present, and write a biographical profile. (Must be different from your partner.)
