  2. What is FurAffinity? • FA is the largest furry art website in the world • 400K Subscribers and 1000’s of submissions per day. • Gets about 5 million hits a day

Furry Fandom Primer • Furry is a primarily internet driven subculture founded in the early 80’s • Focuses primarily on art, costuming, movies and media • Furries hold a number of conventions around the country each year. • Probably the one of the most made fun and ostracized group on the internet since scientologists.

FABrowser History • Beta 1 was released to testers a few days before Application 1 deadline. • Feed Back from testers was put into Beta 1.1 before commitment to subversion. • Beta 2 was release 2 weeks ago to testers and 2.0.1 is currently being tested. • Tester phone models include G1, G2, Galaxy S, Droid, and Droid X.

Design Decisions • GridView for image viewing: Similar to the website itself and good for screen inventory. • New intent for site to phone download: Simplified code and compartmentalized single use functions. • Log-in Dialog without new intent: Less tossing around of extras between multiple activities. • Loading Dialogs: Preempted many of the Beta 1 and Beta 1.1 crashes. Idiot proofing for the win.
