I HAVE A DREAM Aelin Hill Lucy Cranston Steffi Lombardo August 28, 1963
One Hundred Years Ago... • Blacks were promised freedom by Lincoln, but they still are not free.
Insufficient Funds • The Founding Fathers has given the African American Population a bad check, and the are in D.C. to cash that check.
Now is the Time • It’s time right now to make a change for freedom and equality.
Thirst for Freedom • They are not going to be violent to get their freedom, they will use soul-force, and their words.
Cannot Turn Back • There’s no turning back, we must work together, white and blacks both, because if one group isn’t free, the other groups are not free either.
Satisfied? • We cannot be satisfied until we get what we want and deserve, so we must get it done.
A Dream • A dream that everybody will one day be able to join hands and be one.
Let Freedom Ring • We aren’t going to have just freedom in New York, California, and Pennsylvania, but in Alabama, Georgia, and Mississippi, and everywhere else in the nation.
