  2. Manuel Jan's little shop is an anachronism in Toronto. It is the only taxidermy studio left within city limits. Once a thriving business, Jan says he now struggles to make a living. I used to have 4-5 people working for me, but business is shrinking and shrinking," says Jan. He now works alone. Jan’s saving grace has been the film business. Hollywood has come calling for some of his taxidermy creations. “If it wasn’t for the movie business I’d be wiped out completely,” says Jan. “I’m very grateful.”
