  2. Information identifying the program The salvation army bring aid and help to those in need, whether this be due to poverty, unemployment or other issues. They bring help and hope to the needy. They also have a soup kitchen

  3. Tasks that I did • I helped set up for dinner • I also helped serve dinner to the less fortunate

  4. What I learned • I learned how to collaborate with others to get a job done • I also learned that I can adapted to different environments relatively quickly • I also learned that I can make new friends no matter were I go • I also learned that you can make a difference in the lives of people in my community by lending a helping hand; when they need it the most.

  5. New teaching knowledge and skills • I learned how to communicate with others working at the soup kitchen • I also learned how to keep myself bussy

  6. Student learning outcome • Overall I had a great time helping out at the salvation army because they are doing a great thing or our community by feeding the needy in the community. • I will definitely go back and do some more service learning for them because they are a organization.
