Morquio Syndrome • With your group: Read the article • Highlight important information (definition, how you get it, problems you recognize in Kevin’s description already, etc.) • Discuss what you think the most difficult complication would be. • If you finish early, visit the Anchor Activity Area. • We will discuss what you learned in 7 minutes.
Closing Activity Write a paragraphabout how your life would changeif YOU had Morquio Syndrome. A paragraph means AT LEAST THREE SENTENCES. NONE of those sentences should start with the word ‘and’. • Think about: • Diseases are expensive. • Would your home would be easy for someone with this condition to live in? • What activities would you have to give up if you had this sickness? • What daily things do you think would be harder for you to do?
