  6. Handling Data Task - information • You are going to the Bath & West Show • You travel by car and take three friends • Your employer will pay: • Travel expenses • Entry fee • Find the information on the Internet and sheets provided to complete your claim form for expenses.

  7. Handling Data Information sheet • Read information carefully • All the information you require to complete the task is on the sheets. • Everyone going is over 16 • You claim for the return journey’s mileage • You’re traveling from Lackham

  10. Handling Data L2 – Actual cost of fuel Your car averages 45 miles to the gallon. Fuel cost 140.99p a litre 1 gallon = 4.5 litres • Find out: • How much your fuel actually cost? • Why are you able to claim more than this for mileage?

  11. Handling Data Final task Before you go to the Show, your boss has asked you to compare the cost of buying equipment from 4 different suppliers. Use the Internet to find the costs. Then, clearly show this information on a table.
