One Interface Mobile Node IP Address Manager Subnet 2 BS2 • Handoff from BS1 to BS2 • MIP Agent picks up DHCP request • Obains address from IP Address Manager and gives it to Mobile Node (no change in address) • IP Tunnel between two TMIP agents established • Packets routed through tunnel MIP Agent Mobile node MIP Agent Subnet 1 BS1 Corresponding Host
Handoff with OpenFlow Router Subnet 1 BS1 • Mobile node has two IPv4 address: • NIC IP and Permanent IP • OpenFlow Router rewrites Permanent IP destination address to NIC IP as destination • OpenV controller at mobile node rewrites NIC IP to Permanent IP Mobile node OpenFlow Router To Internet Subnet 2 BS2
