Historical Perspective • Hatboro-Horsham School District has operated childcare programs since 1992. • Forerunner in childcare • First program was implemented at Crooked Billet School. • Schools are a natural setting for supporting children and families.
Licensed Program by DPW • District programs are licensed by the Department of Public Welfare. • District programs are governed by Chapter 3270 of the Pennsylvania Code (193 Regulations) • Staff to child ratio • Daily programming • Physical site • Child and staff records, etc.
