  3. RCB and Go-Green • Being the home team of the garden city, it is but natural that RCB promotes go-green. • RCB was the only team in the IPL 3 to promote the go-green initiative by flaunting the green label. • Today’s youth drive success and Bangalore’s youth are sensitive to go-green.

Ideas Idea 1 • Plant or donate 20 saplings in your area or among your family or friends and earn a chance to win an autographed RCB T-shirt or any other merchandise. • For every 5 saplings that you plant, you get to win the RCB silicon wrist band! • Plant more saplings and win exclusive RCB merchandise or like a meeting or dinner with your fav RCB star.

Ideas… Idea 2 • Organizing road shows in Bangalore where we donate plant saplings to RCB fans and public and project it on our website and social networking pages. • E-mail RCB fans about these road shows and encourage them to bring in their neighbors. • Display RCB initiatives on flex boards in prominent junctions of the city.

Ideas… Idea 3 • Tie up with gaming software companies and come up with a RCBville or Greenville on the lines ofFarmvilleTMand popularize it among the fans. • Social networking sites have a major impact on people. • Visit major schools and colleges in the city with display boards about our website and networking site pages.

  7. RCB Players and Go-Green For an idea or an initiative to succeed, we need the RCB stars to promote the concept and fuel the inspiration. • Electronic and print ads promoting the importance of go-green. • Anil Kumble champions the wildlife conservation task. We can involve him in short 2 min ads about planting trees in the neighborhood. • RCB players can be part of the road show and visit areas gifting away saplings.

  8. What is in it for the RC Fan Club? • Greener and cleaner world!! • Larger fan base corresponds to increase in website hits to our site which relates to increased revenue. • Fans win chances for those precious moments with their fav RCB stars or RCB goodies. • Target schools and colleges with RCB goodies such as RCB bands. This will increase popularity among kids. Trust me, the kid is the decision maker in the family. They will pull in the parents in to the club too!!
