  5. Gender and Change • Examine gender inequalities in: culture, status, education, birth ratios, health, employment, empowerment, life expectancy, family size, migration, legal rights and land tenure. HOW CAN THESE BE MEASURED? WHICH HAVE WE ALREADY CONSIDERED?

Choose 2 countries you have already considered / researched this year. • One Developed Country • One Developing Country • Write down your ideas regarding gender inequalities in that country (trends, patterns, reasons, anomalies etc…) • Use the coloured factors from the previous slide as a base for your thoughts. • THIS IS SIMPLY A PREDICTION EXERCISE. BY THE END OF THIS SUB-TOPIC YOU SHOULD BE ABLE TO CONFIRM OR AMEND YOUR PREDICTIONS.
