Recent Planning Committee Actions • Regional Haze Workgroup modified its list of issues with the rule and recommended solutions • Developed a system to track and share exceptional events packages submitted by WESTAR states • Committee members have participated in: • Multi-pollutant infrastructure SIP guidance review • Regional Haze 5-year progress report guidance review • Wild fires/ozone exceptional events meeting in Sacramento
In the Next 6 Months • Open discussion with EPA on RHR Revisions • Go live with exceptional events tracking table • Continue tracking issues; comment as appropriate • Continue dialogue among western states on issues of concern
