Introduction • Latin America is a large marketplace of 36 countries with many business information resources to assist researchers, businesses, academics, and others. • A growing number of government, academic, and business organizations provide business information on the Internet. • This presentation will review a selection of four top Latin American websites out of the plethora available on the Internet.

3. Four Caveats • Knowing Spanish, Portuguese, and for a few ex-colonies, French, is a great help in using Latin American websites. • For SLA purposes, this presentation focuses on English language websites. • There are no handouts for this presentation and only four important URLs. • Mexico is located in North America but is considered part of Latin America.
