  2. Birthplace • Born Anna-Lou Leibovitz, on October 2, 1949, in Westbury, Connecticut. She was one of the six children born to Sam, an Air Force lieutenant, and Marilyn Leibovitz, a modern dance instructor.

  3. Education • Annie attended San Francisco Art Institute. • She Studied Painting. • She continued to develop her photography skills. But she had other jobs as well.

  4. Where are her Photos? • Most of Annie’s photos are in rolling stone. • Rolling stone was the first magazine company she worked for • She also has done photos in Vanity Fair, with John Lennon, Miley Cyrus, and many bands like the Rolling Stones. She photographed the President and his family.

  5. Does she have Style? • Annie’s Style is more portrait. She takes a lot of photos for magazines, so its more single person or group shots. She uses a lot of black and white, and photographs a lot of famous people.

  6. Influence? • Annie’s influences are really based on shocking photos. If you look at her photography you will understand why.

  7. Some Random Facts • Annie is Jewish. • She is the third of six children. • Her mother was a modern dance instructor. • Her father was a Colonel in the U.S. Air force. • Her family moved bases a lot, and she took her first photo when he was stationed in the Philippines during the Vietnam war.
