Regulatory framework Tecno Ecológicos Industrial Parks - Law No. 30078 • "Establish guidelines and mechanisms for the promotion and development of Techno-ecological Industrial Parks (PITE) with a focus on Cluster in partnership with the private sector." • Approved by DS No. 013-2015-PRODUCE • PITE are part of the national strategy to promote competitiveness, Associativity profitability of companies in the industrial sector in a context of decentralization. • Regional or Provincial Government declares a project as A Techno Ecological Park. National Industrial Parks System - DL 1199 • "Regulate at the national level the situation of Industrial Parks, avoid the improper use of the land and create productive spaces" • Approved by DS No. 017-2016-PRODUCE • The components of the system are: techno-ecological industrial parks and industrial parks of national relevance.

National Strategy for Industrial Parks DevelopmentProposes: Background: With UNIDO's support, work was initiated to: • Evaluation of manufacturing sectors for the development of sustainable industrial parks in Peru (December 2017) • Proof of Concept (May 2018) • Guidelines for the National Industrial Parks Strategy (November 2018) Objective: Design a cross-sectoral policy instrument for the development of productive infrastructure, with an emphasis on territorial planning, for the implementation of industrial parks.
