  3. Sample 1 Inviting Friends to a Party W= Wang m=William W: Hello, William. What are you doing tomorrow evening? m: Tomorrow evening? Nothing special, I was thinking of watching TV. W: Drag yourself away from television for a change. I’m having a few friends to have a dinner party tomorrow to celebrate my daughter’s birthday. How would you like to join us? m: Great. That would be super. Congratulations! W: Thank you. How about eight o’clock? Is that OK? New Practical English 2
