The Different Banking Classes • AHS offers many levels of banking classes, such as: • Business, Finance and Marketing Essentials • Banking II • Banking III • Banking IV (Working in the bank as a School Based Enterprise) • Students can choose to make banking their pathway, and can take a different level each year of high school.
School Annoucments Almost every day Steven makes a morning announcement about the new banking services at AHS.
Benefits of Banking Classes • Along with gaining great knowledge of the real working world, you can be involved in the following: • BPA (Business Professionals of America) • Compete in state/national competitions, and volunteer your time in the community • Bunker Hill Elementary • Visiting the school to help the 3rd, 4th and 5th grade students open saving accounts • Wilmington Trust • Essentially work at the branch, and gain experience
Business Professionals of America Students participated in a Salvation Army Stocking Stuffer Service Project. Many students who are in banking or business classes are also BPA members.
Students are given their living situation, income and decide upon their houses and cars.
