The Forced Smile • It doesn’t have much eye contact and the month just goes up a little bit. • Usually used out of politeness. It could mean the person is not telling the whole truth.
Confidence Gesture • ACTION:Hands are in the pocket, leaving the thumbs out. • It shows confidence, they probably feel superior.
Unwelcome Gesture • ACTION:Hands are all in the pocket. • It means you don’t want to communicate. It shows secretive, possibly lying.
Welcome Gesture • ACTION:Open hand wave (not in the pocket) • It means inviting, welcoming.
The Gesture in different countries • In Philippines, it means money. • In Indonesia, it means zero or you are nothing. • In Taiwan, it means okay.
