Situation • Helen is a go getter stay at home mom of 3 children ages 13, 10, and 3 months. • She needs a computer that can run and use new programs for her business. • She needs something easy to use and simple. • She wants her kids to be able to use Facebook and play some games. • The computer has to be fast. • She will want a computer with a lot of RAM.
Recommended Computer • The computer I recommend is the CybertronPCTrooper. This PC will conquer all of Helens computer needs. • For only $599.99 she is getting every penny worth in this PC.
Chip • The Chip is the brain of the computer, its very fast. • The chips speed is measured in Hz (hertz) The higher the Hz the faster it is. • This computers chip is 3.2GHz that’s 3.200,000,000 math questions per second. • The Chip is one of the most important parts in the computer. • The chip in the PC I recommend is the AMD Athlon II X3 450 3.20GHz. This is definitely a good chip for Helen.
RAM (Random Access Memory) • RAM holds the working information. Holds running programs and holds work in progress. • When the power goes out, then RAM is gone. • RAM makes things load faster. • RAM is measured in bytes. • The more bytes the faster. • In the computer I have chosen for Helen it has 8GB of DDR3 RAM. 8 GB is 8,000,000,000,000 bytes. • This computer will run very fast on 8GB of RAM, perfect for all of Helens uses.
Data Storage • Data storage is how much “stuff” you can store. • The more storage you can get the more things you can save and hold. • Data storage is measured in bytes and in RPM (rotations per minute) how fast the platter inside it turns. • This will be useful for saving emails and information for her business. • The computer I recommend has 1TB of space, that’s enough to save thousands of emails and pictures.
DVD / Bluray • DVD means you can play movies and games. • It holds the disk. • The disk drive in the pc I recommend for Helen is a DVDRW which is standard.
Network • Network is what connects you to the internet. • The standard is 802.11b/g/n assume network jack. • The one in the computer I recommend is the 802.11b/g/n assume network jack. • Helen will be able to go on Facebook and download and send emails very fast.
Other • Other is basically everything that isn't in the slides above. • Saying that, these things are still very expensive. • Things that would be other would be : Graphics Card, Operating System, any extra equipment, motherboard etc. • In this computer some of the extras include a new keyboard and mouse, windows 7 64 bit, and NVIDIA GeForce GT 520. • Those are all great things that will boost Helens computing experience.
Price • After all this info your probably thinking it must be expensive. • Well its really actually quite cheep. • The price for this computer is $599.99 • For this price you will be getting everything you need for your job. • From emails to making promotional videos this computer is great for you Helen! • Hope the info I gave you helps you in deciding on a computer, Thanks
