Conduct of classes in MS will be no different than class expectations in other academic
classes, but more importantly, it is important for every instructor to
meet the Directors intent of bringing the Army into the classroom. Given that, no cadet
issues will be discussed in class; instead, discuss what is happening out in the
Army. Routinely cadets will bring up issues happening in the
Corps of Cadets - relate that example to show what they can expect to see
in the Army as lieutenants.
Conduct in the classroom is paramount to all else. Proper conduct
reflects a level of professionalism by the cadets and the appropriate level
of respect for the instructor and the course. When in doubt, ask yourself
what would I expect from a classroom of Lieutenants?

Foreign Fighters
How do we analyze the capabilities of the DIABLO?
BOS (Battlefield operating systems) allows us to analyze in terms of maneuver, fire support, mobility/countermobility/survivability, air defense, combat service support, intelligence and command and control
21. BOS Maneuver - 4 man teams, use of US light infantry tactics; rely on IEDs
Fire Support - 82mm and 60mm mortars; insurgent operations rely heavily on use of mortars
Mobility/Countermobility/Survivability DIABLO receive training on employment of mines and demolitions, IEDs, car bombs, and riot control agents
Air Defense use of SA-7/SA-14s
Combat Service Support use caches for temporary storage of supplies, require support from locals
Intelligence - Infiltrate US through labor, use locals to collect intel for cash
Command and Control - PLA directs DIABLO operations, organized cell structure, cell phones
