An Update on CIT Development and Implementation CIT is growing fast in Virginia. Utilizing various funding sources and supports, some 57% of independent cities and counties are in varying stages of implementation or have operational CIT programs. Over 800 law enforcement personnel Have received the 40 hour CIT training!
