Focus of the Challenge: The Future Learner • A child who starts Y4 in September 2008: • will have a statutory entitlement to access any of the diplomas in Y9 in addition to the current KS4 entitlement to access Arts, Humanities, Languages, Design Technology • will be expected to participate in learning or training up to age 18 at least Yorkshire and the Humber 14-19 Challenge: A call to action
Focus of the Challenge: The Current Learner • A young person currently in Y7, Y8 or Y9 • Will have the choice of accessing a number of diplomas when starting KS4 work but the exact diplomas available will depend upon successful gateway applications and local decisions Yorkshire and the Humber 14-19 Challenge: A call to action
