  3. “Radiologic technologists are the health care professionals who perform imaging procedures, such as X-ray examinations, magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) scans and computed tomography (CT) scans.” - www.explorehealthcareers.org

  4. The Role of a Radiologic Technologist

  5. Being a Radiologic Technologist means one has to be prepared to interact well with patients, just like doctors and nurses.

  6. At times, Radiologic Technologists will be asked to do angiography or venography.

  7. At times, Radiologic Technologists will be asked to do angiography or venography. This procedure aims to capture an image of a patient’s cardiovascular system, such as the veins, heart chambers and arteries.

  8. Radiologic Technologists also have a role in determining a patient’s bone density.
