  4. Cc esparaCinco de Mayo Cinco de Mayo happens on the 5th of May, it is also known as the Day of the Dead. On this day, Mexicans praise those who have died by dance, food, theatre, dress-up, games, and music.

  5. CHch espara Chilies Chilies are hot and spicy. They are used in and on food.

  6. Dd esparadiciembre Diceiembre is December. Dieciembre is the last month of the year.

  7. Ee esparaelfante Elfante means elephant. An elephant is a large mammal that lives in Africa.

  20. Pp espara Pablo Picasso. Pablo Picasso is a famous Spanish painter. The painting below is called “The Three Musicians”, it was painted in 1921.

  21. Qu esparaquesidilla. A quesidilla is a Mexican wrap. It has spicy chicken, pepper, Cheddar Jack cheese, and other types of vegetables and sauces wrapped up in a tortilla in a triangular shape.

  22. Rr esparaRosca. The Rosca is a celebration of the 3 wise men bringing gifts to baby Jesus. Babies are hidden in the bread representing that Jesus was hidden from the kind that wanted to kill him.

  24. Tt espara Tortilla. The tortilla is part of the Mexican diet. They are mostly made up of corn. They are eaten at ever meal.

  26. Vv esparaVirgen de Guadalupe. Virgen de Guadelupe is the Virgin Mary. She is worshipped all throughout Mexico and very important to the Catholic religion.

  28. Xx esparaXilofon. Xilofon means xylophone. The xylophone is a instrument that you hit with a mallet.
