  2. Journal # 2 Describe your family to me – the more details the better. Describe what your home looks like. Do you have an attitude? Why or why not?

Vocab • Communication – the process of sending and receiving messages to achieve understanding • Intrapersonal communication – the type of communication which takes place within ourselves • Interpersonal communication – actual communication with one or more individuals • Self-concept – your picture of yourself formed from personal beliefs, attitudes and experiences

  4. Daily Activity #1 • Draw or describe what your self-concept is, how do you see yourself?

  7. Speech # 3 Opinion Speech Directions: Pick a topic, each group member needs to give a 2-3 sentence opinion on your topic. Once you have written show Kidd and practice once with her. Topic suggestions: Text & Driving, Seatbelt laws, bad drivers, School, Grades, Waiting in line, Parking lots Step 1 – attention getter, start this speech with a question Step 2 – introduce your topic Step 3 – each group members opinion Step 4 – Conclusion, review your topic Step 5- Thank you
