  3. Introduction When you see a squirrel, you think aww look, but you don’t, know what species it is or if it is safe to go up to it. This book can help you determine that. All squirrels can bite so the next time you see a squirrel you will get back. By the end of this book you will be smarter than your teacher at squirrels. So when you walk through the trees look up squirrels are roaming every type of tree. In trees squirrels are safe from predators. Squirrels are mammals.

  7. Different types This is a African pygmy squirrel It is the smallest squirrel in the world It is less than 4 inches long in size. This is the Indian giant squirrel It is the biggest squirrel in the world It can grow up to be 35 inches long There are many types of squirrels But none as common as the European red squirrel They are larger than American red squirrels
