  2. THE SEVENTH BOWL OF PLAGUES • Rev 16:17-19 • 17 Then the seventh angel poured out his bowl into the air. And a mighty shout came from the throne in the Temple, saying, "It is finished!" 18 Then the thunder crashed and rolled, and lightning flashed. And a great earthquake struck—the worst since people were placed on the earth.

  3. THE PURPOSE OF ARMAGEDDON • Satan has filled the mind of the Anti-Christ to destroy Israel. He will want to destroy Israel in order to take it over for himself. He wants all the people of the earth to worship him as God. If he can destroy Israel, he assumes that he can stop the prophecies in God’s Word pertaining to Israel from coming to pass. He will fail emphatically. • So the purpose of Armageddon from the Anti-Christ’s point of view, is to destroy Israel by eliminating as many Jews as possible.

  4. THE SIXTH BOWL OF PLAGUES • Rev 16:14 • 14 They are demonic spirits who work miracles and go out to all the rulers of the world to gather them for battle against the Lord on that great judgment day of God the Almighty.

  5. THE SIXTH BOWL OF PLAGUES • Rev 16:15 • 15 "Behold, I am coming as a thief. Blessed is he who watches, and keeps his garments, lest he walk naked and they see his shame." This speaks of Jesus’s literal, physical return to rule the earth. (The Second Coming)

  6. THE SIXTH BOWL OF PLAGUES • Rev 16:16 • 16 And the demonic spirits gathered all the rulers and their armies to a place with the Hebrew name Armageddon.

  7. ARMAGEDDON • The battle of Armageddon will be fought in Israel, in the valley of Megiddo. The name Armageddon means “Mountain of Megiddo”. The valley of Megiddo is sometimes referred to as “the Valley of Jezreel”. The battle will actually include most of Israel to include Jerusalem.

THE SECOND COMING • Rev 19:11-12 • 11 And I saw heaven opened, and behold a white horse; and he that sat upon him was called Faithful and True, and in righteousness he doth judge and make war. • 12 His eyes were as a flame of fire, and on his head were many crowns; and he had a name written, that no man knew, but he himself.

  9. THE SECOND COMING • Rev 19:13-14 • 13 And he was clothed with a vesture dipped in blood: and his name is called The Word of God. • 14 And the armies which were in heaven followed him upon white horses, clothed in fine linen, white and clean.

  10. THE SECOND COMING • Rev 19:15-16 • 15 From his mouth came a sharp sword to strike down the nations. He will rule them with an iron rod. He will release the fierce wrath of God, the Almighty, like juice flowing from a winepress. 16 On his robe at his thigh was written this title: King of all kings and Lord of all lords. (Ref. 19:17-21)

THE SECOND COMING • Zech14:3-5 • 3 Then the Lord will go out to fight against those nations, as he has fought in times past. 4 On that day his feet will stand on the Mount of Olives, east of Jerusalem. And the Mount of Olives will split apart, making a wide valley running from east to west. Half the mountain will move toward the north and half toward the south.

  12. The millennial reign of christ • Rev 20:5-6 • 5 This is the first resurrection. (The rest of the dead did not come back to life until the thousand years had ended.) 6 Blessed and holy are those who share in the first resurrection. For them the second death holds no power, but they will be priests of God and of Christ and will reign with him a thousand years.

  13. THE PURPOSE OF THE SECOND COMING • 1. To rescue Israel from the Anti-Christ • 2. To place the Anti-Christ and the False Prophet in Hell • 3. To destroy the worlds system which has been ruled by Satan and demons (Dan. 2:44-45) • 4. To set up a Kingdom on the earth, were the Knowledge of God will cover the earth as the waters cover the sea ( Isa. 11:9) • 5. To place the governments of the world upon His shoulders (Isa. 9:6)

  14. THE PURPOSE OF THE SECOND COMING • 6. To place Israel in her rightful place as a Priestly nation of the world (Ezek. 40-48) • 7. To rid the world of Satan by locking him and all demon spirits away in the bottomless pit for a thousand years. (Rev. 20: 7-10) • 8. To establish peace and prosperity for every human on earth (Isa.11:1-5) • 9. To abolish all sickness – • 10. To abolish all war -

  15. RAPTURE AND THE SECOND COMING • 1. The Rapture and the Second Coming will be separated by seven or more years. (Dan.9:27, 1Thess. 5:9-11, 2 Thess.2:6-12) • 2. At the Rapture the Lord will come for His saints,(1 Thess. 4::13-18); at the Second Coming the Lord will come with His Saints.( Jude 14-15, Rev. 19:14)

  16. RAPTURE AND THE SECOND COMING • 3. At the Rapture our Lord will come in the air(1Thess. 4;17), at the Second Coming the Lord will land on the earth (Zech. 14:4). • 4. At the Rapture of the Church all the Saints dead and alive will be given new bodies (1 Cor. 15:49-57)

  17. RAPTURE AND THE SECOND COMING • 5. At the Second Coming all the Saints from throughout human history will return to the earth with the Lord with their glorified bodies. (Rev. 19:14)

  18. RAPTURE AND THE SECOND COMING • 6. At the Rapture our Lord will come to take His Church out of the world,(1Thess. 4:13-18). At the Second Coming our Lord will come with His Church in order to take over the world. (Rev. 19)

  19. THE PROMISE • Acts 1:9-10 • 9 And when he had spoken these things, while they beheld, he was taken up; and a cloud received him out of their sight. • 10 And while they looked stedfastly toward heaven as he went up, behold, two men stood by them in white apparel;

  20. THE PROMISE • Acts 1:11 • 11 Which also said, Ye men of Galilee, why stand ye gazing up into heaven? this same Jesus, which is taken up from you into heaven, shall so come in like manner as ye have seen him go into heaven.

  21. THE PROMISE • Acts 1:12 • 12 Then returned they unto Jerusalem from the mount called Olivet, which is from Jerusalem a sabbath day's journey.
