  2. Why I (Keep Trying to) Meditate Stillness I’m constantly thinking & planning ahead. Meditation allows (& compels) me to just be still. Awareness Discipline This cycle repeats many times in a single session, which itself is a useful form of disciplined practice. In the stillness I can see where my attention goes & sense what I’m feeling (both emotionally & physically) much more clearly.
