ASPIRATIONS February 28, 2014 Dates to Remember Mar. 6- Open House 6:00-7:00 Mar. 7- Spirit Day, Turn in Box Tops Mar. 10-14- Spring Break Mar. 21- Final Round of Gatorville begins Mar. 26- Report Cards Mrs. Ballard’s Class Objectives Math- Finish Fractions and Decimals Social Studies- Mexican Independence Reading- Inferring to determine author’s purpose and theme Writing- Narrative composition Science- Matter Student Artifacts to be Displayed at Local Museum! The artifacts created by 4th graders for the recent Native American Museum PBL will be on display at the International Museum of Cultures in Dallas! Student artifacts will be on display at their museum from Wednesday, March 12th until Wednesday, March 19th. A special opening night event will be held on Wednesday, March 12th from 6:30-7:30. This exhibit will be free to Glenhope families and friends. It is come and go between 6:00 and 7:00. If you can’t make it at the beginning, I’d suggest coming by 6:45 at the latest so you will have enough time to see the things your child is excited to show you. If you have not had discussions with your child about his/her goals yet, expect to see them at Open House. I’m excited for our class to show the progress they have made toward their goals as well as many of the digital products created this year!
