  2. Directions • Today many people believe that teachers do not receive the salary they deserve for the services they provide. On the other hand, there are people that believe that teachers receive too much money. With education becoming more important in today’s society, teachers play a bigger role than ever before. Do you believe that it is time to acknowledge the efforts of the teachers and give them a higher salary? • Carefully read the following four sources, Then synthesize information from at least 3 of the sources and incorporate it into a coherent, well-developed essay that defends, challenges, or qualifies the claim that teachers should be paid more.
