What Is It? • Peptic ulcers are ulcers that form in the stomach or the upper part of the small intestine, called the duodenum. It is an sore which means it’s an open, painful wound.
How Do You Get It? • You could get peptic ulcer by drinking to much alcohol or smoking or chewing tobacco. • You also could get it if your on a breathing machine. • Also you could get it from having bacteria in your stomach.
What Happens To The System? • If you don’t treat it things like this would happen: • Bleeding in your body. • Gastric outlet.
Does the Body Try To Fix Itself? • Your body doesn’t try to fix’s itself you would need treatment to help the pain.
What Medicines do you Need to Take? • You would need to take any meds that kill bacteria and reduce acid inside of your stomach.
Is It Curable? • Yes it is curable but you need to take meds or it wont heal. It’s like any other cut outside of the body besides this one is inside.
