  2. 7th Commandment • You Shall Not Steal!

  3. Introduction • One of the most serious problems is stealing! Everywhere you go there is stealing • This commandment refers to getting another's property. Property doesn’t only mean private but also Public!

  4. Introduction • This commandment is one of the commandments we should follow because each and everyone of us has our own belonging. We worked hard for those things and what happens it gets stolen?

  5. Demands • We should take care of our things and family things. - These things we should treasure because they are God given gifts. These are temporary and can be lost/taken anytime.

  6. Demands • We also need to take care of things that give service to public - Examples are jeepneys, buses etc. These might not affect is but it will affect our other brothers and sisters because they are ones who benefit from it.

  7. Demands • We should not vandalize nor steal. - It’s another persons property it’s not ours we need to respect it. Because each one has his own things which he worked hard for.

  8. Summary • This commandment teaches us to respect everyone’s property because these are God given gifts. We should do our best for others or the future generations live a better and decent life.

  9. 10th Commandment • “You shall not covet your neighbor’s house or anything that belongs to him”

  10. Introduction • Covetousness is the root cause of stealing and exploitation of others. This commandment not only forbids us from desiring another’s property but also envying another’s property.

  11. Demands • Control our tendencies to be envious and greedy - We must respect some else’s things and not be to envious about it or else we might end up stealing.

  12. Demands • Share our things with other people -We must help other people to prevent them from stealing. Instead of bragging we must share our things with them.

  13. Demands • Live a SIMPLE life - We can be happy with what we have and will not desire what other people have.
