Baptist Road Improvement • Worked with El Paso County Organizations • Sound wall along Baptist Rd • Desiree entrance/sidewalks • Mow and noxious weed control on Baptist Rd • Sidewalk on Gleneagle • Jessie to Baptist • Holbein Dr Drainage Ditch Repaired • Grant for Sidewalk on Gleneagle from Jessie to Wuthering Heights • Safe Routes to School Grant Submitted in Jan 09 • 7 of 21 projects selected May 09 • Was not selected

  18. Community Improvement Update • Community Entrance Improvements Gleneagle and Desiree Drive Completed • Signage Improvements (On-Going) • Toddler Park Landscaping (Eagle Scout) • Projects funded with 2006 Special Assessment ($75) and Capital funds

  19. Community Improvement Update • Original Master Plan Projects Still open - Pedestrian Nodes - High Water Crossing Park - Jakes Lake Trail - Baptist Road Fence - Jessie/Gleneagle Corner - Jakes Lake Water Feature • Researching other possible opportunities or projects to update master plan

Santa Fe Trail Extension • El Paso County Parks to extend Santa Fe trail from west of I-25 to Gleneagle Drive • Goal is to connect to Fox Run Park • GNHOA has endorsed project • Trail to go through GNHOA western Common Area, then cross Baptist Road • Awaiting easements for two HOAs to our west • El Paso County Parks coordinator departed • County budget problems has reprioritized funding
