Camouflage • helps animals blend in. example chameleon
Migration– means to move from place to place Whooping cranes , artic lemmings ,buffalo , whales , sand snipers and many more animals migrate these are just some animals that migrate.
Insulation • Animals that lack insulation mostly store fat such as blubber or a heavy coat of fur. Example seal. Insulation-doesn’t conduct heat well.
Instinct • This turtle is an example of instinct turtles automatically know to go in there shell if a predator is after it. Instinct-is inherited Inherited-a behavior that’s not learned such as eye color, hair color, and skin color.
Seasonal adaptations Seasonal adaptations are such as gathering food for the winter , hibernation , or burrowing in the ground for winter to sleep. Most animals increase activity during Autumn to prepare for winter.
