  3. Influences to the Climate • Continental polar air & humid tropical air masses crush • Rocky Mountains & Appalachen • Oceans (Atlantic, Pacific, Arctic)

Continental Climateshumid & moderate • North east: Rainy Climate cold winter, short springtime, warm summer, balmy (mild) autumn • South east: Rainy Climate humid winter & summer, gentle springtime & autumn • South west: Arid Climate warm & dry summer, hotness, partly desert climate • Middle west & Texas: Semiarid Climate to the west more dryer, warm summer, cold winter
