Why undergraduates should do research? • Too many Grad students don’t know how to. • In order to fully understand how something works takes more than memorizing a text book. • Research is a life skill that can be applied to more than being the first. It can keep you from being the last. Why I like to do research? I have a strong desire to learn and understand how/why things work, and how to make them more efficient or more applicable. My specific research interests in this MAS-net REU: Use of Swarm by bacteria that can be modeled to possibly use with mobile actuators to make efficient robots.
