B. Inference • The deer population increased until 1923, then it started to decrease. The decrease could be do to the fact that over the years the food for the deer became scarce. • The deer became the top of the food chain.

The snails give off carbon dioxide, plants take in carbon dioxide, jar 4 showed both the intake and expulsion of carbon dioxide.
