Calories and Calories from Fat • ___________ tells us how much energy we are getting from the product. • Calories from fat tells us out of the number of calories how many bad calories are in there. • The higher the number the worst the food • Also REMEMBER the number of servings you eat determines the number of calories

Group Work • Each group is going to get a different box of cereal • From the nutrition label on your cereal box you need to record the follow nutrients listed below in green on the poster board paper provided. Also, include two more of your choice listed in black. • Make sure you are able to present your information to the class and determine if this cereal is considered a wise choice to eat or not so wise of a choice to eat. Be able to explain your decision.
