Theme Passage: Isaiah 40 31 “But those who wait on the Lord Shall renew their strength; They shall mount up with wings like eagles, They shall run & not be weary, They shall walk & not faint”
1) Recharging our Love is More Than Outward Appearances- Rev 2:2-4 2 I know your works, your labor, your patience, & that you cannot bear those who are evil. And you have tested those who say they are apostles & are not, & have found them liars;

While we can do many good things, we can do them with love being neither our motivating force nor our desired outcome.
Recharged love is more than talk. I John 3 18 My children, we should love people not only with words & talk, but by our actions & true caring. NCV
Recharged love is more than Christian activity. Matt 15 7 Hypocrites! Well did Isaiah prophesy about you, saying: 8 ‘These people draw near to Me with their mouth, & honor Me with their lips, But their heart is far from Me.

Am I going through the motions of loving God and others or do I genuinely feel it?

We cannot have a deep love for God, others or even ourselves while we are at an emotional or spiritual distance.
Matt 22 37 Jesus said to him, ‘You shall love the Lord your God with all your heart, with all your soul, & with all your mind.’ 38 This is the first & great commandment.
God calls us to the deepest love there is—all our heart. We are shaped by what we love, so as we love God deeper our character is transformed into His likeness. Based on quote by Johann van Goethe

Because love is a dynamic, it is not the same from day to day. Recharging our love for God means that we will be willing to express love in new ways with new passion.
