Why do we need to sleep? Enough sleep is vital for a healthy lifestyle… • Enough sleep keeps you fresh and alert so you can be at your best. • Sleep gives your body a break. If you’ve been running around lots, or working hard at school you’ll need it! • Sleep rests and relaxes your brain. • While you sleep your body repairs. It helps you stay on top form. • Sleep helps your brain sort out all the new things you’ve learned that day. Diary page 74
