8. PPIs • Drugs: Omeprazole, Pantoprazole, pantoprazole • Indications: GERD, PU, H.pylori treatment, zolinger-ellison • Adverse effects: mild adverse effects, interaction of omeprazole with some other drugs. • must be taken 1 hour before meal. Don't chew or break

9. Eradication of H.pylori • 2 or more antibiotics + acid suppressing agents • Metronidazole • Clarithromycin • Tetracycline • Amoxicillin

10. Misoprostol • آنالوگ سنتزی پروستاگلندین E1 است. • برای رفع عوارض ناشی از NSAIDs به کار می رود. • عوارض: اسهال- کرامپ گوارشی- سقط جنین

11. Other drugs • Bismuth sub citrate: اثر ضد باکتری و محافظت کننده معده • Sucralfate: اثر محافظت کننده معده – مهار جذب داروهای دیگر • Carbenoxolone (licorice extract) • Cisapride: در رفلاکس معده به مری کارایی دارد. مهار متابولیسم بعضی داروها

14. بیماری های التهابی روده • کورتیکواستروئیدها و داروهایی مثل سولفاسالازین و مسالازین تجویز می شود.
