Meeting Charge • In folder (Google: IFM Charge) • All speakers and scale group participants were instructed to express their opinions according to the meeting Charge • Series of pre-meeting discussions IMAG
Meeting Charge • Developed by IMAG from MSM Consortium experience • 4 main Charge points • 7 contextual issues for modeling IMAG
Meeting Charge • Pre-meeting scale group meetings identified issues unique to scale • Scale groups will raise specific charge points and issues (not necessarily all) • Scale groups will raise questions to other scale groups – cross-scale issues IMAG
WHY Models ???
Things to Remember • This is NOT a consensus generating meeting • This is a brainstorming meeting to allow INDIVIDUAL opinions to be expressed • This is not an advisory meeting - recommendations (e.g. for funding) are not to be made IMAG
Things to Remember • Moderators are taking notes • Chairs will compile notes and discussions and present summary tomorrow morning • After the meeting - Chairs will compile all the summaries into one final report • One month public commentary to 1/16/10 • Final report will be a statement of discussion - not consensus, not advice to government IMAG
Things to Remember • Please speak into the microphones • 2 moving microphones on each side of the room • Remote participants – please use videocast feedback form to submit questions and comments IMAG
Enjoy the meeting! IMAG
