3. Synopsis of the story • The story revolves around protagonist “Rakesh” who lives with his family i.e. Aarti (wife), His Mother and Durva (niece). • The family members believe in Saint Swami Samartha except Rakesh, but he believes that swamiji is the only reason that his father is not with him. • His father was a follower of Swamiji. Once he went to the temple of Swamiji and never returned back, and he also blames Swamiji for the death of her sister and his brother-in-law, who died after consuming Prasad from Swamiji’s Temple. • Rakesh does not have faith in Swamiji, and he believed that whatever went wrong in his family is all because of him. • Rakesh had a Plot and wanted to sell it… but his mother does not want him to do so because, there was an idol of Swamiji on the plot.

4. Later he tries to convince her and she agrees to sell half of the plot but she did not want to sell the other half of the plot where the Idol of Swamiji was Placed. • Rakesh tries to sell half of the plot to Metkar but, Metkar had some condition i.e. He wanted to buy the whole plot and that too without Swamiji’s idol or else he would cancel the Deal. • Rakesh agreed to his condition because he was getting the desired amount of Money from that plot and thus during baby shower Ceremony of his wife, he went to remove Swamijis Idol from his Plot. • On the other hand Rakesh’s wife Aarti has a miscarriage because Swamiji’s anger. • Doctor told Rakesh and her Mother that further she can’t conceive a child in her future. • When Rakesh got this news he was Shocked and Upset and had developed more stronger hatred feelings for Swamiji.

5. Rakesh was frustrated and then he starts drinking alcohol, staying aloof from his family and ignoring his professional life. • Shashi who was the business partner of Rakesh also cheated him, while Rakesh was unconscious after getting drunk he signed the “Power of attorney” in the name of Shashi. • Rakesh was tensed and thinking about his past and thus over speeding his car he meets with an accident he was hospitalized and his legs get Paralyzed. • When he returns back home, Rakesh went asleep he dreamt of Swamiji and saw his wife dead, he woke up and suddenly realized that he can walk, he rethinks about all those incidents that happened in the Past in a Positive way and regrets about staying aloof from his family, and thus starts believing in Swamiji.. • Metkar came to meet Rakesh for the payment of the Plot, but however Rakesh refuse to collect the Payment because the “Power of attorney” was given to Shashi while he was Drunk.

6. Rakesh was Surprised that Metkar was paying for the Plot that does not belong to him anymore. • There was a character named “Mouli” who helped all the other characters throughout the movie. • Metkar told him that he went with Mouli to his Office to find out that Shashi and Madhu was trying to Cheat him. • Then Rakesh took a decision to built a temple of Swamiji’s on the same Plot and refuse to sell it to Metkar. • In the end they build a temple of Swami Samarth. • Suddenly Mouli appears there and people realize that it was Mouli who helped them in many ways and he was none other than SWAMI SAMARTHA. The End

Rakesh (28) • He belongs from a high class family. • His family believe in Swamiji, But Rakesh does not follow the same. • Overall his character goes through a drastic change from “Non Believer” to “Believer” with incidents that are relevant to his family and friends. • Thus getting back his trust and belief in Swamiji. 15. Aarti (25) • Aarti (25), She is simple girl from a middle class family. • She has strong traditional and religious views and a firm believer of “Swami Samartha”. SHEETAL PATHAK

18. Rakesh Mother (50) • She is a familiy oriented woman. A traditional indian housewife but with liberal and modern views. • She is having strong belief on “swami samartha”. • Her belief is so deep on “Swami Samarth” that Even after loosing her near ones she didn’t lose her faith and belief in swamiji. 19. Durva (10) • Durva is Rakesh’s niece. She lost her parents at early age. At present she is staying with Rakesh and his family. • Rakesh treats her just like his own daughter. • In this movie she plays an innocent kid who passes on a serious message. • Durva’s messages in the movie is biggest lessons that makes Rakesh to believe in Swamiji. 20. Shashi (28) • Shashi is one of the best friend of Rakesh. • Sashi and Rakesh are business partners and both of them have mutual trust on each other. • Shashi is a dual nature character behaves very nice socially but he is having an eye on Rakesh’s wealth. OJAS PATIL

21. Madhu(25) • Madhu is a friend of Shashi. • She work as a secretary at Rakesh’s office. • She pretends to be a Hard working and Smart Employee in front of Rakesh, but she is not. • With the help of Shashi she tries to get the “Power of Attorney” from Rakesh. T TARKHA PEDNEKAR

22. Metkar (48) • He is a builder by Profession. • He showed his interest to build a Mall on Rakesh’s Property (Math Land) which was not in use. • At end he is the one who reveals the truth....... Sunil Godse

23. Gargi (25) • Gargi, is Aarti’s childhood friend. • She is a believer of Swamiji and believes that she is Successful in her work because his blessings. • Presently staying in New York. • She is not able to call or Meet her family and friends because of work load on her. RaginiNandwani

24. Jenny (27) • Jenny is Gargi’s friend and room mate. • Jenni who is not aware of Indian culture, still has curiosity to know more about it. • She comes to India to know more about Shri Swami Samarth and visits Akkalkot. SussaneBernert
