  20. QUALITY CONTROL Objective: Scope: Objective of these Standard Operating Procedures is to provide guidelines for antimicrobial test. This procedure is applicable for the raw material product where antimicrobial test is to be conducted for in-house specification.
  21. QUALITY CONTROL RESPONSIBILITIES ABBREVIATIONS Implementation- Microbiologist Execution- Manager (QUALITY CONTROL) Review & approval- QA Manager & AGM- Works SOP : Standard Operating Procedure QUALITY CONTROL : Quality Control LAF : Laminar Air Flow
  22. SOP-QUALITY CONTROL Materials required: Sterile inoculation loop Sterile petri plate Disc Nutrient agar Nutrient broth Bunsen burner Equipment required: Autoclave Laminar Air Flow Sterile pipette. Precaution: 70% of Ethanol was used during the operation. The microbial limit test must be carried out under Laminar Air Flow.
  23. SOP-QUALITY CONTROL NUTRIENT AGAR PREPARATION PROCEDURE For this Quality control test, it need just a small amount of media preparation for example; 10g of nutrient agar = 500ml of distilled water 2.5g of nutrient agar = x Therefore, 10x = 500 (2.5) X = 125ml. And for 10g nutrient agar = 500ml of distilled water can give about 30 plate of media. Therefore, 500ml = 30 plates 125ml = x plates X = 7.5/8 plates.
  24. SOP-QUALITY CONTROL (A) TEST FOR SPECIFIED MICROORGANISMS.
