  2. 18.11.13-01.12.13 The Switch Off campaign gets started! Eco Committee whole school assembly Charley and Mrs Huckerby finish the Switch Off display

  3. Daily Monitoring The Yr 6 Eco members and the House Team Captains checked all the electrical items each day at lunchtime to monitor how well we saved energy!

  4. Eco Committee Educational Visit The Eco Committee went to visit the solar panels on the roof at Mr Cairns’ house.

  5. Eco Committee Educational Visit They even produce electricity for the National Grid!

  6. Eco Committee Educational Visit And the committee never “Switch off” to being Eco warriors! Bringing back eco friendly apples!

  7. T-shirt Designers! Some children designed t-shirts with Mrs Huckerby

  10. Mrs Kershaw tried to catch people out after school!

  11. But it was tricky because most people remembered to Switch Off!

  13. A Successful Campaign! Groups worked with Mr Cairns to analyse Data Electricity usage before the campaign showed we spent £63 on electricity in one week! Switch Off Week 1 We spent £48 Saved £15! Switch Off Week 2 We spent £43 Saved £20!!

  14. A Successful Campaign! Our Pod Survey Results We saved 3,318.8 KwH of electricity in 24 hours! So Keep saving energy! We could save 647,156.3 KwH in a Year!
