  3. Why Montreal? • SOAR Montreal not happening this year • Pastor Martin Lanthier visiting Jericho last summer from Laval • Exploring a partnership with Église Ste. Rose in the province of Québec

  4. How we’ll be serving? • Pacifest Laval 2013 (http://www.pacifestlaval.com) • BBQ pour la Paix (August 18th) Community Outreach, Kids Zone • UTSS Documentary Screening (August 23rd) AmadouDiallo

  5. Other happenings • Prayer and Worship Evenings • St. Joseph Oratory in Old Montreal • MB History Tour Understanding Québec’s religious history

  6. The current needs of ÉgliseSte. Rose • $100 towards a new projector. (total cost $1500, $900 still needs to be raised) • $50 towards a new head worn microphone. (total cost $400) • $25 towards a new microphonefor worship leader. (total cost $150)

  7. Ways to partner with our family… • $100to help cover flight costs (4 tickets, total cost $3000) • $50 to help cover the ground costs (possibly accommodations /transportation) • $25other ministry costs (PacifestBBQ)

  8. Prayer Requests from Pastor Martin • Pray that our members would shine God’s light into our city. • Pray that God would deeply impact our neighbourhood and transform us to the image of Jesus in the process. • Pray that more mature Christians become available to walk alongside people that have been coming to our Church regularly seeking God.

  9. Pray for God to… • provide a place for us to stay • keep us rooted in the Gospel by being in His Word and in prayer regularly • equip our hearts and minds for service that will bless the body of Christ at Église Ste. Rose • give us at Jericho Ridge a heart for the most unreached people group in North America
